Who Is St. Mark?

He is the writer of the Gospel according to St. Mark. This is believed to be the first Gospel to be written among the Canonical four Gospels.* He is one of the Seventy Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Founder and First Patriarch of the Apostolic See of Alexandria, Egypt.
